Nitrided Ferro Manganese (N-FeMn) – APPLICATIONS
• Micro-alloyed high-strength steels.
• Increases nitrogen content – improves toughness and tensile strength.
• Used in automotive, shipbuilding, and pipeline steel.
• Replaces expensive ferro-nitrogen alloys.
• Improves wear resistance and fatigue strength.

• N: ~ 3–6%
• C: ~ 0.1–1.5%
• Si: ~ 2–4%
